Job summary
PT. GEOSERVICES is seeking a Software Support Engineer with a Bachelor's in Geophysical, Geological, or Petroleum Engineering to provide technical support for oil and gas software solutions.
You will assist the sales team with technical product presentations and manage post-purchase processes including installation, troubleshooting, and software updates. The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience and strong proficiency with industry software such as AspenTech and KAPPA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geophysical, Geological, or Petroleum Engineering required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in oil and gas industry software (e.g., AspenTech, KAPPA).
- Proven software troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for software solutions.
- Assist the sales team in delivering technical product presentations to potential clients.
- Manage post-purchase technical processes, including installation, troubleshooting, technical evaluations, and software updates.
- Execute Proof of Concept (POC) to address clients' technical and analytical challenges.
- Conduct regular client visits to discuss technical software performance and needs.
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
