Job summary

Halliburton, a global energy services leader, is seeking an experienced reservoir engineer to join Landmark Software & Services. The role focuses on building and maintaining reservoir simulation models for field development and optimization, working across reservoir, geoscience, and production teams.

Qualifications

• Perform history matching, production forecasting, sensitivity, and uncertainty analysis.
• Develop and evaluate reservoir development and optimization scenarios.
• Apply ResX for simulation workflows and model management.
• Support history matching and ensemble-based modelling workflows.
• Integrate geological, PVT, well, and production data into simulation studies.
• Collaborate with reservoir, geoscience, and production engineering teams.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations based on simulation results.

Job Duties

• Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering and geoscience and a minimum of 3 years of experience
• Build, run, and maintain reservoir simulation models for field development and reservoir management.
• Perform history matching, production forecasting, sensitivity, and uncertainty analysis.
• Develop and evaluate reservoir development and optimization scenarios.
• Apply ResX for reservoir simulation workflows, model management, scenario analysis, and uncertainty/ensemble based studies.
• Support assisted history matching and ensemble-based modelling workflows.
• Integrate geological, PVT, well, and production data into simulation studies.
• Work closely with reservoir, geoscience, and production engineering teams.
• Conduct technical workshops, demonstrations, and customer support when required.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations based on simulation results.
