Job summary

TRIPATRA seeks an experienced Construction Representative for offshore offshore projects. You will act as the Client's representative on vessel platforms, overseeing offshore construction and installation activities to ensure compliance with procedures, specs, and HSE requirements.

You will witness critical operations, coordinate with multiple teams, and deliver daily progress reports while managing risks and schedule deviations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline is required.
• 8–10 years of offshore Oil & Gas EPC/EPCI project experience is required.
• Experience in offshore construction, installation, and execution activities is required.
• Strong knowledge of offshore HSE practices, permit-to-work systems, and SIMOPS is needed.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Client's representative onboard offshore construction and installation vessels.
• Monitor offshore activities to ensure compliance with procedures, project specs, and HSE requirements.
• Witness and verify critical offshore operations including T&I, SURF, heavy lifting, and pipeline installation.
• Coordinate communications between Client, Contractor, vessel crew, subcontractors, and onshore teams.
• Prepare and submit daily offshore progress reports and updates.
• Identify, assess, and elevate operational risks and schedule deviations.
• Promote a strong safety culture across offshore operations.
• Ensure activities align with project HSE standards and contractual requirements.
• Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, SIMOPS reviews, and safety meetings.
• Support successful offshore installation campaigns while maintaining efficiency and quality.
