Job summary

Nabors is seeking a Roustabout to safely and efficiently perform manual labor tasks throughout the rig under the supervision of the Crane Operator and reporting to the Rig Manager. The role demands strong physical fitness, the ability to work 14 days on and 14 days off, long shifts up to 12 hours, and strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE on offshore or onshore rigs.

Experience of 2 years on another drilling job is preferred, with readiness to work in challenging conditions in Indonesia's

Qualifications

• 2 years experience as a Roustabout for another drilling company.
• Must be able to work long schedules on a rig and adapt to shift work.
• Basic safety and PPE compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Crane Operator with offloading and back loading of supply vessels.
• Performs housekeeping activities on the rig (excluding the rig floor) including washing, chipping and painting.
• Assists Crane Operator with moving and relocating supplies, pipe and other equipment on the rig which involves attaching slings and cables to the object being moved.
• Assists the Derrickhand within the mud pit, mud pump and chemical sack rooms.
• Performs simple maintenance and repairs to the plumbing and sewer systems.
• Relieves the floorhand on the drilling crew when trained.
• Other duties as required by the Crane Operator, Deck Foreman or Rig Manager.
