Job summary

Nabors is seeking a Roustabout to safely perform manual labor on our rig in Tangerang Selatan, Banten. The role reports to the Rig Manager and works under the Crane Operator, with responsibilities in handling equipment, offloading vessels, and maintaining the rig.

Candidates must have 2 years of roustabout experience, be able to work 14 days on/off, lift up to 60 lbs, and live in close quarters. Nabors offers equal opportunity employment and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience as a Roustabout for another drilling company
• Must be able to work long shifts up to 12 hours
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and handle heavy equipment

Responsibilities

• Assists the Crane Operator with offloading and back loading of supply vessels
• Performs housekeeping activities on the rig (excluding the rig floor) including washing, chipping and painting
• Assists Crane Operator with moving and relocating supplies, pipe and other equipment on the rig which involves attaching slings and cables to the object being moved
• Assists the Derrickhand within the mud pit, mud pump and chemical sack rooms
• Performs simple maintenance and repairs to the plumbing and sewer systems
• When trained, relieves the floorhand on the drilling crew
• Performs other general labor duties as assigned
