Job summary

Pandai Gadai is seeking a Regional Operations Manager based in Jakarta to lead offload and warehouse setup across multiple cities. You will coordinate with branches, drivers and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and accurate inventory.

Willingness to relocate and travel frequently is required; you must work independently, handle vendor relationships, and drive expansion by building a local buyer network and improving margins.

• Strong executor who can work independently without daily direction.
• Street-smart and able to handle vendors, buyers, and ops issues.
• Basic understanding of logistics, warehouse, or trading is a plus.
• High ownership mindset (not 'wait for instruction').

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure smooth offload process across assigned regions.
• Coordinate with branches, drivers, and warehouse teams.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve turnaround time.
• Set up operational warehouse (SOP, layout, basic controls) and ensure inventory accuracy and security.
• Manage inbound (pickup) and outbound (sales) flow.
• Source and build relationships with local buyers and negotiate pricing to improve margins.
• Maintain active network of buyers per region.
• Travel to new cities to establish operations from zero and run pilot operations.
• Handover or continue managing depending on business needs.
