About the Role

As an Outbound Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing daily outbound warehouse operations to ensure products are dispatched accurately, efficiently, and on time. You will lead the outbound team, coordinate with cross-functional departments, and drive operational excellence to achieve service level targets while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

This role requires a hands‑on leader with strong operational knowledge, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to continuously improve warehouse processes in a fast‑paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational teams to oversee end‑to‑end outbound delivery activities, ensuring seamless execution from initial planning through to on‑time proof of delivery (POD).
• Champion safety and compliance by ensuring all drivers and transport units strictly adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and manage strategic relationships with third‑party logistics (3PL) providers.
• Monitor order fulfillment and on‑time delivery (OTD) metrics rigorously to consistently meet or exceed service level agreements.
• Drive cost‑efficiency initiatives by managing outbound delivery expenses, ensuring national distribution operations remain within budget while actively pursuing targeted cost savings.
• Leverage Transport Management Systems (TMS) and ERP software (SAP) to optimize load planning, routing, and the dispatch process.
• Analyze key operational performance indicators to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement strategies across the supply chain.
• Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment, consistently meeting high‑pressure service level targets.
• Maintain flexibility to support 24/7 transport operations, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays as business needs dictate.
• Exhibit a willingness to travel across regional branches to conduct site visits, audit outbound operations, and align network strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Warehouse Operations, Outbound Logistics, Distribution, or Supply Chain, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory/lead role.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of outbound warehouse operations, order fulfillment, inventory management, and transportation processes.
• Proven experience in leading operational teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP systems (SAP is an advantage).
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and operational compliance.
