Job summary

Aplikas Servis Pesona is seeking a network security specialist to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures for managed services. You will work with firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS, load balancers and monitoring tools to meet client security requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering and strong knowledge of routing, security architectures, and high-availability strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Informatics Engineering is required.
• Proficient in networking concepts including TCP/IP and OSI layers.
• Experience with routing protocols OSPF, BGP and MPLS.
• Security-focused with HA, VPN, firewall and load balancing experience.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, integrate, and maintain network security platforms and related software such as firewalls, IPS/IDS, web proxy, load balancers, VPNs and monitoring systems.
• Plan and evaluate policies for firewall, VPN, SSL and intrusion prevention.
• Analyze and troubleshoot security issues remotely or on-site.
• Coordinate log analysis to meet customer security requirements.
• Maintain security devices to proactively defend networks in a managed services SOC environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure devices are operational and secure.
• Work with sales, product management, engineering and other departments on security-related items.

Job description

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Informatics Engineering.
• Proficient in networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI Layer, Subnetting, Routing, Switching, NAT).
• Having knowledge of routing (OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
• Proficient in Network Architecture and Network Security concepts.
• Proficient in High-Availability, VPN, Virtualization Firewall, and Load Balancing.
• Having Knowledge of Security Application Control, IDS/IPS, and Web Filtering concepts.
• Having 5 years experience in implementing and troubleshooting.
• Have an International Certification for Network Security (such as NSE 4, NSE 5).

Job Descriptions:

• Perform configuration, implementation, integration, and maintenance of all network security platforms and any other related software, such as Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Anti-SPAM, Web Proxy, Load Balancing, VPN, Network Monitoring System, and other network security platforms.
• Plan and appraise ongoing assessment of firewall policy, VPN, SSL, intrusion prevention, web filtering, and other network component policies.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and correct network security problems remotely and on-site.
• Coordinate and oversee log analysis for the company-managed services offerings to ensure customer policy and security requirements are met.
• Maintain network security devices to enable pro-active defense of networks within a managed service SOC environment, providing protective monitoring to multiple commercial customers.
• Work under the direction of the Team Leader to maintain security devices and show practical experience in managing firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Web Proxy, Anti-spam, Load balancing systems, and packet capture devices.
• Work in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders to ensure customers have devices that are fully operational and secure.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, engineering, and other departments on security-related items and any other duties as assigned by the firm.
