FlexiTalent China is seeking an experienced Indonesia Category Manager – MRO Industrials to own MRO category procurement and sales in Indonesia, covering general industrial supplies, hand and power tools, PPE and industrial chemicals.

This hands-on commercial role involves supplier management, market intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration with domestic supply chain and local warehouse teams to deliver revenue and gross profit targets.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of full-cycle MRO procurement and sales experience.
• Fluent business English for negotiations with suppliers and clients.
• Know-how of local Indonesian industrial product channels and import rules.

Responsabilités

• Take charge of MRO category procurement and sales in Indonesia across general industrial supplies, tools, PPE and chemicals.
• Oversee supplier development, negotiation, contract signing and inventory turnover.
• Engage with local and Chinese manufacturers, identify procurement demands and deliver revenue and gross profit targets.
• Research local market prices and competitor channels within Indonesia.
• Optimize dual-source cross-border and local procurement to reduce costs and improve margins.
• Manage supplier admissions, performance, payment terms and after-sales quality.

• Collaborate with domestic logistics and warehousing to ensure stable delivery.
• Support local procurement and sales strategies with regional leadership and expand local customer resources in Jakarta.

We are seeking an experienced Indonesia Category Manager – MRO Industrials to take ownership of MRO category procurement and sales in Indonesia. The role covers general industrial supplies, hand and power tools, PPE and industrial chemicals, and requires full-cycle category management from supplier development and negotiation to inventory turnover and gross profit delivery.

This is a hands-on commercial role that combines supplier management, B2B customer engagement, market intelligence and cross-functional collaboration with domestic supply chain and local warehouse/logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

Take charge of MRO category procurement and sales in Indonesia, covering general industrial supplies, hand and power tools, PPE and industrial chemicals.

Oversee the full cycle of category work, including supplier development, business negotiation, contract signing and inventory turnover management.

Engage with local and Chinese manufacturing factory clients, identify MRO centralised procurement demands, formulate category supply solutions and deliver targeted revenue and gross profit indicators.

Conduct in-depth research on local industrial product market prices and competitor channels in Indonesia.

Optimise the dual-source structure of cross-border and local procurement, reduce comprehensive procurement costs and improve category gross profit margins.

Implement full lifecycle supplier management, including supplier admission, performance assessment, payment term negotiation and after-sales quality control, to avoid supply and compliance risks.

Compile regular reports on category inventory, sales revenue and gross profit data.

Collaborate with domestic supply chain and local warehousing and logistics teams to ensure stable product delivery.

Work with regional leaders to implement localised procurement and sales strategies and expand local industrial customer resources in Surabaya.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Industrial Engineering or related fields are preferred.

5–10 years of full-cycle MRO industrial product procurement and sales experience.

In-depth expertise in at least one category among general industrial supplies, tools, PPE and industrial chemicals.

Prior experience in industrial product procurement and B2B sales in Southeast Asia or Indonesia is highly preferred.

Fluent business English, with the ability to independently conduct business negotiations with suppliers and clients in English.

Familiar with local industrial product channels, import customs clearance and tax compliance rules in Indonesia.

Proficient in supplier negotiation, cost accounting and inventory planning.

Capable of independently undertaking category performance targets.

Strong commercial acumen, ownership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
