U.S. Embassy Jakarta seeks an Assistant Supervisory Motor Pool position within the General Services Office (GSO) to support daily transportation operations, supervise staff, and coordinate dispatch, maintenance and fuel activities in line with policy and guidance.
The role includes maintaining records in ILMS and FMIS and supporting safety compliance. The incumbent may act as Motor Pool Supervisor in absence of the incumbent, ensuring continuity of day-to-day operations.
Provides operational support and serves in an Assistant Supervisory capacity for the Motor Pool program within the General Services Office (GSO). Assists in implementing daily transportation operations, overseeing staff, and coordinating dispatch, maintenance, and fuel activities in accordance with established policies and guidance from the Motor Pool Supervisor. Assist in maintaining accurate records in ILMS (Integrated Logistics Management System) and FMIS (Fleet Management Information System) and supporting compliance with operational and safety requirements. Serves as acting Motor Pool Supervisor in the absence of the incumbent, ensuring continuity of day-to-day operations in accordance with established procedures and guidance.

Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in motor pool operations, transportation services, fleet management including vehicle dispatching, driver coordination, and basic fleet maintenance support, is required. At least one (1) year of supervisory or team lead experience including assigning work, monitoring task completion, and providing basic guidance to staff is required.

Job Knowledge:

Ability to use computer applications, including Microsoft Office, for data entry, recordkeeping, and reporting is required. Ability to operate motor vehicle. Must possess a valid, current driver's license for the class of vehicle (SIM B1) to be operated and must have held a valid driver's license for a minimum of five (5) years, in accordance with 14 FAM 433.
