Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Monetization and Contract Success Specialist to guide complex commercial agreements through pre-signature review, ensuring terms are clear, operationally feasible, and implementable in Stripe’s systems.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, strengthen controls, improve workflows, and develop scalable solutions that increase deal-cycle efficiency and reduce downstream user friction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial contracting or deal management.
• Ability to translate contract terms into clear operational requirements.
• Experience partnering with Legal and risk/control functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME across the commercial contract lifecycle and advise deal owners on the supportability aspects of reviews.
• Review and interpret terms, identify operational requirements and risks, and prepare inputs for review.
• Partner with Pricing, Strategy, Legal, Business Practices, Accounting, Billing, Tax, Sales Operations, Engineering, and account teams to align objectives with capabilities.
• Review and advise on terms, balancing user needs, Stripe’s objectives, feasibility, and risk.
• Own onboarding of custom contracts and pricing terms into Stripe’s billing and financial systems.
• Manage contract workflows, maintain documentation, and provide proactive status updates.
