Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology or related field.

• Proficiency in DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, and gel electrophoresis.
• Experience with sequencing technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with LIMS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, gel electrophoresis, and sequencing.
• Prepare and analyze samples, ensuring proper handling, labeling, and storage protocols.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including thermal cyclers, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, and genetic analyzers.
• Document experimental procedures, observations, and results accurately and thoroughly in lab notebooks and databases.
• Perform data analysis and interpretation, drawing conclusions and preparing reports.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize experimental protocols as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
• Stay updated on new molecular biology techniques and technologies.
• Assist in the development and validation of new molecular assays.
