Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Laboratory Operations & Testing
- Prepare laboratory equipment and perform complex chemical tests on materials and samples (raw materials, intermediates, final products, and packaging components) in accordance with SOPs.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain standard analytical laboratory instrumentation, specifically within the medical industry context.
- Apply development methods and validation protocols for testing procedures.
- Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and promptly report technical issues to the laboratory supervisor.
- 2. Data Management, Documentation & Quality Control
- Diligently compile, analyze, and record data generated from testing onto computers following standard operating methods.
- Maintain, manage, and secure accurate, precise, and up-to-date laboratory documentation and reports.
- Review, update, and create SOPs related to quality control, including drafting new SOPs according to kit inserts for new devices and reagents.
- Comply with standard procedures and quality control measures to drive continuous product improvement.
- 3. Lab Housekeeping, Safety & Cross-Department Collaboration
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly laboratory and work area.
- Manage laboratory inventory by tracking materials used and ordering new items/reagents as needed.
- Strictly follow safety standards, biosecurity, and biosafety regulations, ensuring the safe handling of materials and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support team-oriented processing to ensure all testing remains strictly on schedule.
- Interact and collaborate effectively with Operations, Quality Assurance (QA), and Research and Development (R&D) departments.
- Assist in promoting the Company’s products and services when required.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Medical Laboratory Technology (Analis Kesehatan), Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
- Proven experience as a Laboratory Analyst, preferably within the medical, pharmaceutical, or clinical industry.
- Strong familiarity with standard analytical laboratory equipment and instrumentation used in the medical sector.
- Solid understanding of testing validation protocols, method development, and biosafety/biosecurity regulations.
- Proficient in performing routine laboratory calculations and data analysis.
- Computer literate (MS Office) with strong data entry and report writing skills.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses a strong collaborative/team-player mindset.
