Job summary

PT Sejahtera Tridaya Prima (STP) is seeking a Sales Engineer for the mining sector based in Gunung Putri, Bogor, with willingness to travel on official business to mining areas. You will strengthen sales capacity by developing new customers and increasing sales of pumps, rental, and service offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 in Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, or Business.
• 3+ years sales experience in the mining sector; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience selling pumps, dewatering systems, rental, or related industrial equipment is an advantage.
• Ability to understand customer technical needs, analyze opportunities, perform basic commercial calculations, and prioritize sales.
• Willing to conduct customer visits and official travel to mining locations.
• Based in Bogor/Jabodetabek or willing to work from Gunung Putri base.
• Fluent Indonesian; able to read technical documents and conduct basic work communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and sales opportunities in mining companies and mining contractors.
• Coordinate with engineering to offer pump solutions, dewatering, rental, spare parts, and services.
• Prepare quotations, conduct presentations, negotiations, and follow-ups until orders are obtained.
• Achieve sales targets while considering margin, payment terms, and fulfillment capability.
• Oversee orders through delivery, billing, and customer payment follow-up.
• Update activities, opportunities, and follow-up actions in company systems.
• Maintain customer relationships and identify further needs and opportunities for other products.
