Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Mining Operations and Business Improvement Consultant to lead sustainable improvement projects at the East Indonesia site (Papua). You will identify opportunities, provide strategic direction, and manage project delivery to achieve measurable value while improving safety and productivity.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mining or Geology Engineering or related fields; MBA preferred; 3–5 years in mining consultancy or operations; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining or Geology Engineering, Industrial Technology, Management Information Systems, Business & Economics, General Management, or other engineering-related fields.
• MBA with operations or business improvement experience is highly preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience, preferably in Mining Consultancy or the Mining Industry.
• Proven experience in asset maintenance & performance, mining operations, or operational excellence.
• Involved in strategic project execution rather than routine, day-to-day operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage sustainable operational projects to increase competitive advantage.
• Identify improvements with problem identification and best-practice solutions.
• Provide strategic direction in business improvement initiatives.
• Manage project deliverables per PMO and Operations Excellence methodology.
• Design and implement business improvement initiatives and resolve issues.
• Communicate overall project plans, progress, and problems to stakeholders.
• Maintain strong relationships with Senior Management to gain buy-in.
