Job summary

Accenture Southeast Asia is seeking a maintenance planning expert to support a major mining project in East Indonesia (Papua). The role requires 4–10 years in mining and at least 3 years in maintenance planning, with CMMS experience and Bahasa Indonesia fluency.

You will train client planners, help define work management processes, and drive measurable improvements on-site. This permanent position offers exposure to global best practices, on-site deployment, and collaboration with Accenture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–10 years in mining/mineral processing or heavy industry with at least 3 years in maintenance planning.
• Hands-on experience with CMMS (SAP PM, Maximo, PRONTO or Ellipse).
• Experience in work management: planning, scheduling, backlogs coordination.
• Coaching or delivering structured training to maintenance staff.
• Bahasa Indonesia fluent; daily work with local crews in Bahasa.
• Willing to be stationed at a client site for the assignment duration.
• Experience in copper/nickel/base metals mining is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvement of maintenance planning practices across mobile equipment and fixed assets on-site.
• Coach and develop client planners and supervisors through structured on-the-job training.
• Support design and implementation of work management processes for planning, scheduling, executing, and recording.
• Contribute to building maintenance planning frameworks, tools, and reference materials.
• Track progress against capability milestones and adjust coaching as needed.
• Collaborate with Accenture and client teams to align with program objectives.
