hosting.com is seeking a Migration Specialist to plan and execute website and database migrations. You will manage DNS propagation, email routing, and downtime considerations while ensuring customers are informed throughout the process.
You will document edge cases, validate post-migration success, and work with Linux environments, PHP/MySQL, and hosting configurations to deliver reliable migrations. Weekend availability is a plus.

In this role, you should be a keen problem solver with strong attention to detail and a good level of written and spoken English. The role primarily involves planning and carrying out customer migrations, ensuring websites, databases, DNS, and email services are moved safely and efficiently while keeping customers informed throughout the process.
You should be comfortable assessing different source environments and hosting configurations, troubleshooting migration issues, and validating that everything is working correctly after the move. Experience with website and database migrations, DNS, email services, and hosting environments is important, along with the ability to document processes, edge cases, and lessons learned to help improve migration workflows over time.
