IOM - UN Migration in Tangerang, Indonesia seeks an Internship to support the Migration Health Unit in day-to-day activities and community outreach. The role focuses on aiding refugee care initiatives, health awareness sessions, and coordination with partners.

The internship provides exposure to public health within a UN agency, with supervision by the Migration Health Physician and Head of Sub-Office Tangerang. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in final year of a first university degree in Public health, Medical health, Psychology, Social Welfare, Social Work, Education or related field.
• Or enrolled in a second university degree (graduate school/equivalent).
• Or graduated within one year of graduation.

Responsabilités

• Support day-to-day implementation of Refugee Care activities in Tangerang.
• Provide assistance in health-related activities and awareness sessions.
• Assist in data collection and reporting for the Migration Health Unit.
• Support ticket handling within the Complaints and Feedback Mechanism (CFM).
• Coordinate with service providers and participate in community meetings.
