Job summary

IOM - UN Migration Batam Office invites applications for an Internship to support Refugee Care, Migration Health and related activities under the Head of Field Office Batam. Eligible candidates are enrolled in final year of public health, psychology, social work or related fields, with English and Bahasa Indonesia fluency.

The internship offers mentoring, field exposure, and a possible stipend in line with local policies.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in final year of a relevant degree or graduated within 1 year.
• Background in public health, psychology, social work or related fields.
• English and Bahasa Indonesia fluency required for internship.

Responsibilities

• Support Refugee Care and Migration Health programme activities.
• Assist data collection and documentation during field visits.
• Co-facilitate non-clinical counselling sessions under supervision.
• Maintain records of trainings, meetings, and unit initiatives.
• Coordinate with service providers and participate in community meetings.
