IOM - UN Migration invites applications for an Internship in Medan, Indonesia, within the Refugee Care Unit. The intern will support day-to-day programme activities, assist in case management, and help coordinate protection-related initiatives under supervision.

Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required. The internship offers a stipend and exposure to UN migration operations, with opportunities to engage with education teams and data management tasks.

Responsabilités

• Participate in the implementation of the Refugee Care unit programme, organizing events
• Support day-to-day programme activities in coordination with the Refugee Care Unit in Medan
• Co-facilitate general/non-clinical counselling sessions
• Assist in comprehensive case management, guided by the Refugee Care Team
• Maintain documentation and record-keeping for training sessions and meetings
• Support data collection related to mental health and psychosocial support
• Assist in protection-related activities and awareness sessions
• Support ticket distribution and response in the Complaints and Feedback Mechanism (CFM)
• Assist AVRR and movement procedures
• Coordinate with education team for school visits and parent meetings
