Job summary

PT.ASIAN COLLECTIONS GARMENTS is seeking a garment merchandising professional in Jakarta to work closely with buyers and other merchandisers. You will plan product ranges, manage costs and BOM, forecast sales, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely production and delivery.

• Review and understand the Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Manage budgets, costs, and target prices; forecast sales and profitability.
• Negotiate quantities, prices, and delivery lead times with suppliers.
• Follow up samples, production status, and garment POs; ensure material availability.
• Develop relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers to meet price, quality, and delivery targets.
• Track product development and production progress to meet quality, cost, and timeline requirements.

This role involves working closely with buyers and other merchandisers in the garment industry, managing budgets, predicting sales and profits, and negotiating with suppliers and distributors. You will handle sample follow-up, production status, and garment purchase orders, while developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers.

Prepare, review, and understand the Bill of Materials (BOM).

Manage and monitor budgets, product costs, and target prices.

Forecast and analyze sales, costs, and profitability.

Negotiate quantities, prices, and delivery lead times with suppliers and vendors.

Follow up and handle samples, production status, material status, and garment POs.

Follow up on fabric and accessories to ensure materials are available according to the production schedule.

Develop and maintain good relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring alignment with business requirements in terms of price, quality, delivery, and product availability.
