Job summary

PT. Niaga Aneka Mode is seeking an experienced Merchandiser to drive sales by optimizing point-of-purchase and shelf management. You will ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time and price.

Responsibilities include planning merchandising strategies, forecasting, budgeting, and collaborating with buyers, suppliers, and analysts. The role requires English fluency and willingness to work in Surabaya.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Fashion design or related field.
• Knowledge of fashion retail and merchandising trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening, presentation and decision making abilities.
• Commercial acumen with ability to decode customer needs.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin a plus.
• Willing to be placed in Surabaya.

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to produce sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services. You will get the right product, in the right place, time, quantity and price.

Responsibilities:

Planning and developing merchandising strategies.

Have an instinctive feeling about future product.

Planning budgets & presenting sales forecast OTB/Open To Buy (Sales, Margin, Inventory).

Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, Operational and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.

Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives.

Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.

Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Fashion design or any related fields.

Have knowledge in fashion retail.

Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills.

Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers.

Possess strong work resilience and able to perform well under pressure.

Fluent in English both oral & written (Proficiency in Mandarin will be considered an advantage).

Willing to be placed in Surabaya.
