Job summary

PT. Bamboo Lab Architect is seeking an experienced MEP Supervisor to oversee mechanical and plumbing installations on projects in Central Lombok. This full-time role requires coordinating subcontractors, ensuring adherence to design specs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

You will lead day-to-day MEP activities, conduct site inspections, and maintain documentation while communicating with project managers and clients. Proficiency in English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in mechanical and plumbing supervision or site management within construction or engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, and heating/cooling installations.
• Comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary installations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and plumbing engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proven experience in supervising and managing technical teams on construction sites.
• Excellent knowledge of Indonesian building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced MEP Supervisor to join our growing team in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical and plumbing systems across our projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical and plumbing installations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This supervisor role is integral to our project success, bridging the gap between design specifications and on-site execution, whilst maintaining effective communication with contractors, engineers, and clients.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating all mechanical and plumbing installation activities on project sites, ensuring work is completed in accordance with design specifications and engineering standards

Conducting regular site inspections and quality checks to verify that installations meet required safety standards, building codes, and contractual specifications

Managing day-to-day operations of mechanical and plumbing teams, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance monitoring

Liaising between the engineering design team and on-site contractors to clarify technical requirements and resolve installation challenges

Maintaining comprehensive site documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and material logs related to mechanical and plumbing systems

Identifying and addressing potential issues early, proposing practical solutions that maintain project timelines and budgetary constraints

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies on site

Training and mentoring junior staff and contractors on proper installation techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards

Coordinating material procurement for mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring timely delivery and appropriate storage

Communicating progress updates to project managers and stakeholders, highlighting any concerns or deviations from the project plan

What we're looking for

A minimum of 2 years' professional experience in mechanical and plumbing supervision or site management within construction or engineering environments

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, and heating/cooling installations

Comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary installations

Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and plumbing engineering drawings and specifications

Proven experience in supervising and managing technical teams on construction sites

Excellent knowledge of Indonesian building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Good command in English

A proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

Current or willingness to obtain relevant certifications in mechanical and plumbing systems or site safety management

Experience working in the West Nusa Tenggara region or similar climatic conditions is advantageous
