Job summary

PT Jaya Obayashi is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor (MEP Specialist) to manage cost and contract aspects of MEP works on site. You will ensure accurate budgeting, cost control, and coordination between MEP subcontractors and project teams.

The role requires English fluency and strong negotiation skills. Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical/Electrical engineering degree and have 2+ years in a similar role, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years in a similar role.
• Proficient with MEP standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQ for MEP works.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations against budgets.
• Monitor costs, variations, and claims for MEP packages.
• Coordinate with other QS teams to integrate MEP costs.
• Provide regular cost reports and flag commercial risks/opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and company policies.
