PT Jaya Obayashi is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor (MEP Specialist) to manage cost and contract aspects of MEP works on site. You will ensure accurate budgeting, cost control, and coordination between MEP subcontractors and project teams.

The role requires English fluency and strong negotiation skills. Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical/Electrical engineering degree and have 2+ years in a similar role, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years in a similar role.
• Proficient with MEP standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQ for MEP works.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations against budgets.
• Monitor costs, variations, and claims for MEP packages.
• Coordinate with other QS teams to integrate MEP costs.
• Provide regular cost reports and flag commercial risks/opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and company policies.

Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP)

We are seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor (MEP Specialist) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the cost and contract aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works within our general construction projects. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate budgeting, cost control, and smooth coordination between MEP subcontractors and our project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for MEP works.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and ensure alignment with project budgets.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and claims related to MEP packages.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, and structural QS teams to integrate MEP costs into overall project budgets.
• Provide regular cost reports and advise on commercial risks/opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, company policies, and industry standards.

Requirement:

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Have experience min. 2 years in the same position.
• Proficient with standards and regulation of MEP System
• Proficient with AUTO CAD & Excel is a must
• Familiar with standards installation of MEP System
• Have AK3 KELISTRIKAN licenses is an advantage
• Fluent in English both oral and written is a must
• Good Coordination & Negotiation for execute the project
• Willing to place in Jakarta & Karawang (site project)
