Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking an organized MEP Engineer to oversee on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. You will bridge design and field execution, manage specialized subcontractors, ensure materials meet specs, and troubleshoot field clashes.

Responsibilities include supervising HVAC, electrical containment, LV systems, and coordinating daily MEP tasks while ensuring safety and compliance with building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of on-site construction experience.
• Experience with integrated MEP scopes on residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

• Supervise the installation of HVAC ductwork, chiller systems, VRF units, AHUs, fire sprinkler systems, and ventilation.
• Oversee electrical containment, cable pulling, DB terminations, lighting layouts, and LV systems like CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.
• Coordinate daily tasks for MEP subcontractors and trade labor to maintain continuous progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and compliance with drawings and local regulations.

You will manage specialized subcontractors, ensure materials meet specifications, troubleshoot field clashes, and ensure all MEP systems are delivered safely, on schedule, and in compliance with building codes

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of HVAC ductwork, chiller systems, VRF units, air handling units (AHUs), fire sprinkler systems, and ventilation.
• Oversee electrical containment, cable pulling, DB terminations, lighting layouts, and Low Voltage (ELV) systems like CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.
• Coordinate daily tasks for MEP subcontractors and trade labor to maintain continuous progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship adheres to quality benchmarks, approved shop drawings, and local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense).

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. 8- 12 years of on-site construction experience, with a proven track record of handling integrated MEP scopes on residential, commercial, or industrial projects
