Job summary

PT. Global Jet Express (J&T Express) seeks a Civil/Architectural Drafter in Jakarta to support gateway construction projects from initiation through closing. You will review MEP drawings, ensure design compatibility with operations, and supervise installations while coordinating with contractors.

The role requires a civil/architectural degree, BoQ expertise, and willingness to travel. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential, with Enscape a plus and Mandarin preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Drafter experience is a plus.
• Willing to work overtime and travel for business trips.
• Able to prepare and calculate Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp; Enscape is a plus.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering and building construction calculations.
• Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle Gateway construction projects from initiation to closing.
• Quality control on ongoing projects to ensure smooth operation.
• Coordinate with contractor regarding project progress.
• Check MEP drawings to ensure design accommodates operations.
• Ensure MEP installations per design and requirements.
• Monitor testing and commissioning for MEP installations.
• Supervise ongoing projects to meet design and timeline.
• Provide quick solutions if problems occur in ongoing projects.
• Manage admin and field flow if delays occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Check renovation and construction BAST.
