Job summary

PT Cikupa Megah Kencana is seeking a skilled Printing Operator to run metal decorating and tinplate printing lines. You will ensure machines, inks, coatings and blankets are ready, perform setup, and monitor quality to meet design and production targets.

You will coordinate with QC, PPIC, Maintenance, Warehouse and other departments, perform routine cleaning and maintenance, and uphold 5S/5R standards and K3/HSE regulations while reporting issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Graphic Design, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in printing industry, preferably metal printing/tinplate or can manufacturing.
• Understanding of metal decorating processes, color matching, registration, ink, coating, plate, and blanket.
• Ability to perform machine setup, troubleshooting, and printing quality control.
• Ability to control productivity, reject rates, waste, downtime, and material usage.
• Ability to lead, manage, and develop printing operator teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure printing machines, plates, blankets, rollers, ink, coating, and supporting equipment are in ready-to-use condition
• Verify tinplate meets production standards, and check ink and equipment before production begins
• Operate printing machines according to SOP and production targets
• Ensure printing results conform to design, color, size, and quality standards
• Conduct periodic checks on printing results and promptly address any issues
• Separate and report rejected materials
• Manage material, ink, and supply usage to ensure efficiency and minimize waste
• Perform cleaning and basic maintenance of printing machines
• Report machine damage or production issues to supervisors
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area according to 5S/5R standards
• Use PPE and comply with all K3/HSE regulations
• Complete production reports, output records, reject logs, and downtime documentation accurately
• Collaborate with QC, PPIC, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other production departments to ensure smooth operations

Job description

About you
