Job summary

SCG is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Indonesia to ensure reliable mechanical systems and equipment across manufacturing facilities. You will lead preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime while optimizing performance.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, 2–4 years of plant maintenance experience, and strong problem‑solving and communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in plant maintenance or mechanical engineering roles; fresh graduates with strong internships may be considered.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and maintenance methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CMMS is an advantage.
• Clear communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance windows without disrupting operations.
• Review equipment performance data and recommend upgrades or improvements.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental standards.
• Prepare reports on maintenance performance, downtime analysis, and cost efficiency.
