Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Workshop Machinist to operate and maintain production equipment, manufacture and repair components, and support safe, efficient production. You will read technical drawings, work with measurement tools, and assist in keeping machines in reliable condition while adhering to quality standards.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years in workshop operations, with English communication and shift work.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree (Diploma) in a Technical or Engineering field.
• Broad knowledge of workshop operations, machinery, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Familiarity with measurement devices and inspection tools.
• Computer literacy in MS Office; CAD/CAM knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate in English.
