Job summary

PT Chiringuito Del Kabron (El Kabron Bali) seeks a Mechanical Engineer – Prototype Specialist to lead development from concept to final prototype. You will apply expertise in metal fabrication, materials like stainless steel and aluminum, and CAD tools to produce production-ready drawings and specs.

Responsibilities include selecting materials and processes, creating SOPs, and collaborating with workshop teams to drive product improvements and robust prototypes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in product development and mechanical prototyping.
• Able to develop a product from concept/design to finished prototype.
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, or similar materials.
• Knowledge of cutting, bending, welding, grinding, polishing, and brushed metal finishing.
• Able to create and read technical drawings and production specifications.
• Familiar with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
• Able to develop production SOP, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Able to determine materials, dimensions, fabrication methods, tools, and production processes.
• Experience with prototype testing, troubleshooting, and product improvement.
• Hands‑on and comfortable working directly with workshop/fabrication teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes from concept to finished product.
• Collaborate with workshop teams to translate designs into physical prototypes.
• Ensure CAD drawings and production specs are accurate and compliant.
• Identify materials and fabrication methods for prototypes.
• Support testing and troubleshooting during prototype evaluation.
• Develop and maintain production SOPs and quality standards.
