Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Jakarta is seeking a Measurement Sciences leader to provide hands-on analytical leadership for the regional Personal Health Care business. You will translate business questions into fit-for-purpose measurement plans, generate reliable data, and present actionable recommendations to support product qualification, claims, lifecycle stewardship, and risk management.

You will collaborate across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Product Supply, and external labs, deploying robust methods,

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry or closely related field.
PhD or Master’s with substantial hands-on analytical experience preferred.
Hands-on experience in analytical method development, validation or qualification, transfer, stability testing, and lab troubleshooting.
Experience with regulated lab practices and data integrity.

Responsibilities

Frame clear technical problem statements and learning plans with project teams.
Connect measurement outputs to product performance and business decisions.
Execute chemical/physical methods on dosage forms (tablets, capsules, liquids, semi-solids).
Apply techniques like HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, AAS, ICP, and dissolution as appropriate.
Plan and execute method development, validation, robustness, transfer, and troubleshooting.
Maintain instrument readiness, calibration, maintenance, and data integrity.
Identify anomalies, investigate root causes, and propose next steps.
