Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Material Analyst to support bid activities and manage material flow for complex oil and gas projects. The role involves planning, tracking material usage, preparing work packs and maintaining fabrication databases.

You will ensure material availability, analyze production feedback, and assist in project setup and continuous improvement. A 12-month renewable contract and corporate benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience as Material Analyst in oil and gas.
• Experience with production planning and material traceability.

Responsibilities

• Manage project materials, production feed and plan within Production Planning and Control.
• Match and reserve daily Project MTO income.
• Prevent material shortfalls during project execution.
• Prepare and estimate Work Packs.
• Set up and maintain Fabrication databases (Material Utilization Factors).
• Validate and analyse production feedback related to spent materials and reconciliation.
• Support bidding activities, project setup and yard CI.

Mission

• Support bid activities, prioritize arrival of material, support analysis of yields and fabrication methods and plan production activities according to project schedule and availability of drawings, materials and personnel

Tasks

• Manage project materials, production feed and production plan within Production Planning and Control team
• Match and reserve daily Project MTO income
• Prevent material lack during Project execution
• Prepare and estimate Work Packs
• Set up and maintain Fabrication databases (Material Utilization Factors)
• Validate and analyse Production feedback relevant to, spent materials, assuring Traceability and final Reconciliation
• Support bidding activities, Projects set-up and yard Continuous Improvement
