Job summary

Opal Beauty Studio in Batu Bolong is seeking a skilled Massage & Facial Specialist to deliver customized facial treatments and therapeutic massages, creating a calm oasis while upholding premium skincare and wellness standards.

You will perform skin analyses, recommend targeted solutions, and educate clients on home care routines, while maintaining hygienic treatment spaces and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Licensed professional in Esthetics, Beauty Therapy or Massage Therapy.
• Technical mastery in advanced facial massage techniques.
• Knowledge of professional skincare ingredients and safety.
• Excellent English communication and client relationship skills.
• Experience with skin-tech devices (LED, microcurrent, microdermabrasion).

Responsibilities

• Perform tailored facial treatments based on skin type, including cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, masks and serums.
• Deliver massage services including neck/shoulders, hands and feet as part of treatments.
• Conduct skin analyses and recommend targeted solutions.
• Educate clients on home care routines and upsell products/treatment packages.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary treatment station; manage towels and inventory.
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards for tools and workstations.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and nurturing Massage & Facial Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the ultimate provider of relaxation and skin health, delivering customized facial treatments alongside therapeutic massages. You will create an oasis of calm for our clients, helping them achieve glowing skin and reduced muscle tension while representing our premium skincare and wellness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Skincare & Facials: Perform tailored facial treatments based on client skin types, including deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, masking and high-performance serum applications.
• Massage Therapy: Deliver a range of body treatments, such as neck and shoulder, hand and foot massage sometimes during other treatments.
• Skin Analysis: Conduct thorough consultations and skin analyses to identify concerns (eg. aging, acne, dehydration) and recommend targeted solutions.
• Retail & Routine Planning: Educate clients on home care routines and confidently upsell skincare products and future treatment packages to support their long-term wellness goals.
• Treatment Station Presentation: Maintain a serene, impeccably clean and sanitary treatment station, managing towel turnover and product inventory efficiently.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain strict sanitation standards for all tools, massage linens and workstations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Licensed professional: Valid qualification or license in Esthetics, Beauty Therapy (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent), or Massage Therapy.
• Technical Mastery: Proven competence in advanced facial massage techniques.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with professional skincare ingredients (e.g., AHAs/BHAs, retinols, antioxidants) and chemical safety.
• Communication: Must be able to confidently speak English. Exceptional listening and interpersonal skills to build long-term client trust.
• Experience operating skin tech devices (e.g., LED light therapy, microcurrent or microdermabrasion).
• Experience using Dermalogica products and procedures.
• Experience with cash handling and daily cashing-up procedures.
• Previous team leadership experience or supervisory experience.

What we offer:

• Commission: 5% commission on services and 10% commission on retail sales.
• Expected take-home: 6,000,000+ IDR per month (Base + commission average)

Working Hours:

10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Shift Structure: 5 days per week on a rotating roster basis (Studio is open 7 days a week; weekend availability is required).
