Job summary

Opal Beauty Studio in Batu Bolong, Bali, is seeking a highly creative Nail Artist to deliver trend-led nail art and advanced designs while offering basic massage and LED face treatments to enhance client experience.

You will upsell retail and service add-ons, maintain strict hygiene, and mentor junior staff. The role requires certified nail technician credentials, English communication, sales ability, cash handling, and leadership experience. Working hours 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, five days a week.

Qualifications

• Certified Nail Technician with manicure/pedicure qualification and portfolio.
• Strong sales and upselling skills with consultative approach.
• Excellent English and customer service skills.
• Experience with cash handling and daily cashing-up procedures.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

• Masterful Nail Artistry: Execute a wide range of advanced nail art techniques tailored to client requests.
• Flawless Nail Prep: Perform immaculate natural nail prep, shaping, cuticle work and clean gel/polish extensions or overlays.
• Active Upselling: Recommend premium add-ons and retail products to maintain clients' art at home.
• Retail Promotion: Educate clients on nail health and wellness, upselling retail items to support lifestyle.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain strict sanitation standards for all nail tools, massage linens and workstations.

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly creative and skilled Nail Artist to join our team. Your primary focus will be delivering trend-led, flawless nail art and intricate designs that showcase your technical precision and creativity. While art is your main passion, you will also elevate the client experience by offering basic massage treatments, LED face masks and naturally upselling retail items and service add-ons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Masterful Nail Artistry: Execute a wide range of advanced nail art techniques (eg. hand-painted designs, chrome, encapsulation, 3D art or French variations) tailored to client requests.
• Flawless Nail Prep: Perform immaculate natural nail prep, shaping, cuticle work and clean gel/polish extensions or overlays.
• Active Upselling: Recommend premium add-ons like a rejuvenating foot scrub or specialized nail treatments, and confidently guide clients toward retail products (e.g., cuticle oils, hand creams) to maintain their art at home.
• Retail Promotion: Educate clients on nail health and wellness, confidently upselling retail items (eg cuticle oils, hand creams, take-home care kits) to support their lifestyle.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain strict sanitation standards for all nail tools, massage linens and workstations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Certified Nail Technician: Proof of qualification in manicures/pedicures with a portfolio of recent work.
• Sales & Upselling Confidence: Proven ability or strong desire to meet sales targets, pitch add-ons naturally and recommend retail products with a consultive approach.
• Customer Service: Must be able to confidently speak English. Strong communication skills with a warm, welcoming and professional demeanour.
• Experience with cash handling and daily cashing-up procedures.
• Previous team leadership experience or supervisory experience.

What we offer:

Commission: 5% commission on services and 10% commission on retail sales.

Expected take-home: 6,000,000+ IDR per month (Base + commission average)

Working Hours:

10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Shift Structure: 5 days per week on a rotating roster basis (Studio is open 7 days a week; weekend availability is required).
