Job summary

PT. Jasindo Trans Samudera is seeking a marketing professional with 2+ years in export-import/logistics to build relationships with customers and offer trucking solutions.

You will proactively follow up on needs, identify upselling opportunities, and coordinate with operations to resolve issues and maintain high client satisfaction. You will stay updated on competitor activities and market trends to inform strategic marketing actions and pricing discussions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years marketing experience in export-import or logistics.
• Degree in Marketing Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Driving license and ability to drive.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily in-person visits to potential and existing customers to build relationships and offer trucking solutions.
• Proactively follow up on discussed customer needs, monitor proposal progress, and provide timely updates.
• Identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities and assess potential for new or long-term contracts.
• Negotiate service pricing, shipment volume, and other details, and prepare proposals for customers.
• Prepare daily or weekly reports detailing visit activities, follow-up results, challenges, and recommendations for sales improvements.
• Act as a liaison between clients and operations to resolve issues and maintain high client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on competitor activities to develop competitive marketing strategies and insights.

Job Description

• Conduct daily in-person visits to potential and existing customers to build relationships, understand customer needs, and offer relevant trucking solutions.
• Proactively follow up on discussed customer needs, monitor proposal progress, and provide timely updates to ensure effective communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 in any major (preferably in Marketing Management or Communication)
• At least 2 years of experience in marketing, especially within the export-import or logistics industry.
• In-depth understanding of the export-import industry, including regulations, procedures, and related challenges.
• Goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently or within a team.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client and business partner relationships.
• Strategic thinking skills and a strong analytical ability to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
• Have driving license and able to drive.
