Job summary

PT Kevin Shipping, a leading Indonesia-based provider of barge and tugboat rental services, seeks a Commercial Shipping / Business Development professional to grow maritime transportation services, especially Tugboat & Barage operations. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with cargo owners, prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and coordinate with operations and finance to secure contracts.

Experience in commercial, sales, and business development in shipping is preferred.
Strong networking and relationship-building with cargo owners, shippers, charterers, and traders.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities related to Tugboat & Barage services and marine transportation.
Approach and build relationships with cargo owners, shippers, charterers, traders, mining companies, contractors, and potential customers.
Prepare and deliver quotations, commercial proposals, and price offers to customers.
Negotiate freight rates, charter rates, contract periods, cargo volumes, routes, and other commercial terms.
Coordinate with Operations, Port Captain, Port Engineer, Finance, and Management teams to ensure fleet readiness and smooth execution.
Monitor the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and prepare periodic commercial activity reports.
