Serata Group is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source and evaluate suppliers for marine equipment, engines, spares, and related operational needs. You will negotiate pricing, schedules, and terms, coordinating with engineering, warehouse, and finance to ensure timely procurement.

You will monitor inventory, forecast purchasing needs, and build strong relationships with local and international suppliers while ensuring compliance with specifications and project requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 2–5 years of procurement/supply chain experience, preferably in marine/industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
• Experience handling local and overseas procurement activities.
• Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Source and evaluate suppliers for marine equipment, gensets, engines, spare parts, and related needs.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery, payment terms, and contracts with vendors.
• Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with engineering, warehouse, and finance teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Ensure purchased products meet specifications and quality standards.
• Track supplier performance, delivery timelines, and procurement documentation.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate logistics and shipment arrangements for imported goods.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and vendor evaluations.
