Job summary

You will align strategies with vessel requirements, manage procurement and logistics, and collaborate with production teams to ensure timely material readiness and project delivery. Candidates should have 3–5 years in a managerial role and a bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of managerial experience in purchasing and inventory.
• Experience in shipping or maritime industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, SCM, or related field.
• Willing to travel for business.
• High integrity and professionalism.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork.
• Proficient in ERP/inventory systems and data-driven decisions.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain for shipbuilding projects.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with vessel requirements and budgets.
• Manage procurement: supplier sourcing, contracts, purchasing, and payments.
• Ensure timely availability of materials per production schedule.
• Oversee logistics: transportation, warehousing, inventory, and port handling.
• Collaborate with production teams for smooth workflow.
• Monitor and report supply chain budgets and performance.
• Build relationships with suppliers and conduct evaluations.
• Identify process improvements and innovative supply chain solutions.
• Assess risks and develop mitigation plans to avoid delays.
