Job summary

PT CONTEMPORARY AMPEREX TECHNOLOGY INDONESIA BATTERY is seeking a Manufacturing Function Support – Manpower Planning Engineer to align staffing with production plans across 10 departments. You will plan, monitor, and optimize staffing, attendance, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of manpower planning experience, with strong Excel skills; English and Mandarin are a bonus.

• 3+ years of experience, engineer/supervisor level preferred.
• Strong experience in manpower allocation and workforce planning.
• Manufacturing background with multi-line production; automotive experience preferred.
• Proficient in English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong logical thinking and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage manpower needs across 10 manufacturing departments based on business and production plans.
• Create and adjust HC Planning or manpower allocation plans as operational needs change.
• Monitor attendance, working hours, overtime, and labor/production efficiency.
• Prepare weekly/monthly labor efficiency reports with improvement recommendations.
• Track monthly headcount and resource fulfillment status.
• Monitor labor cost indicators and drive corrective actions when needed.
• Handle manpower organizational transfers, including employee transfers and hiring from HQ.
• Manage HRM - MFS internal systems accurately and consistently to ensure data integrity and reporting.
• Maintain manpower and employee movement records on HRM - MFS systems.

Manufacturing Function Support (MFS) - Manpower Planning Engineer

Manufacturing Function Support (MFS) is a supporting function within the Production organization that works closely with HR Dept in manpower planning, workforce allocation, and workforce configuration to ensure production manpower requirements are properly planned and aligned with operational needs.

Responsibility :

Plan and manage manpower needs across 10 manufacturing departments based on business and production plans.

Create and adjust HC Planning or manpower allocation plans as operational needs change.

Monitor attendance, working hours, overtime, and labor/production efficiency.

Prepare weekly/monthly labor efficiency reports with improvement recommendations.

Track monthly headcount and resource fulfillment status.

Monitor labor cost indicators and drive corrective actions when needed.

Handle manpower organizational transfers, including employee transfers and hiring from the Head Office (HQ), ensuring proper coordination and smooth implementation of the transfer process.

Manage HRM - MFS internal systems accurately and consistently to ensure data integrity and support effective manpower planning and reporting.

Maintain manpower and employee movement records (onboarding, offboarding, transfers) on HRM - MFS internal systems

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Have 3+ years of experience, ideally at Engineer/Supervisor level.

Strong experience in manpower allocation and workforce planning.

Manufacturing background with multi-line production; automotive experience preferred.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and high-pressure environment.

Proficiency in English and Mandarin is a plus.

Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, as the role involves extensive data analysis.

Proactive and able to take ownership and resolve issues independently.
