Inovasi Andalan Prima seeks a Mandarin Translator to bridge Chinese and Indonesian teams on a construction project. You will translate conversations on site and support coordination between foreign workers and Indonesian staff.

Job description

Mandarin Translator (Chinese–Indonesian) for a construction project. You will support communication and coordination between foreign workers (Chinese), project management, and Indonesian field teams in construction and renovation activities.

Key responsibilities

Translate communication directly (verbally) between Mandarin and Indonesian speakers

Accompany daily communication and coordination at the construction project site

Translate work instructions, technical directions, and operational information so both parties can understand

Help convey work needs and constraints between Chinese and local teams

Help translate messages, documents, or written reports when needed

About you

Able to speak Mandarin and Indonesian well

Have the ability to speak and understand Mandarin conversation fluently

Able to translate conversations directly with accuracy and clarity

Willing to work directly in a construction project environment, not just in an office

Ability to read and write Mandarin is an added value

Experience as a translator in construction, renovation, or interior fields is a priority

Honest, disciplined, responsible, communicative, and able to work with a team

Willing to work full-time and follow project operational needs
