Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and project support including schedule management and meeting minutes.

• Monitor renovation progress, schedules, procedures, and quality standards.
• Assist with material inventory, stock movements, and supplier coordination.
• Conduct site visits and business trips as required.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues and report progress to supervisor.
• Perform other duties related to project operations.

About the Role

We are looking for a Mandarin-speaking Engineering Project Assistant to support renovation projects and daily project operations. This role involves coordinating with building management, contractors, suppliers, and Chinese and Indonesian teams to ensure smooth project execution.

The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of construction or renovation work, strong communication and coordination skills, and the ability to handle both administrative tasks and on-site activities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and project support, including schedule management, document filing, meeting minutes, and follow-up on action items.

Coordinate with building management regarding construction access, permits, utilities, equipment installation, inspections, and handovers.

Facilitate communication between Chinese and Indonesian teams through Mandarin–Indonesian translation and on-site interpretation.

Monitor renovation progress, work schedules, construction procedures, and quality standards.

Assist with construction material inventory, inspections, stock movement verification, and supplier coordination.

Conduct site visits, business trips, document or material deliveries, and other field assignments as required.

Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively while providing regular progress updates to the supervisor.

Perform other duties related to project operations as assigned.

Requirements

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and able to use it as a working language.

Proficiency in English is an advantage.

Basic knowledge of construction, renovation, interior fit-out, or related project operations.

Familiarity with construction materials, specifications, and renovation procedures is preferred.

Must hold a valid driver's license and be confident driving independently.

Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Willing to work on-site, work overtime when necessary, and travel for business purposes.

Responsible, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.

Must have valid identification and work authorization documents and be available for long-term employment.
