Job summary

PT Mutualplus Global Resources Semarang is seeking a Mandarin-speaking interpreter and project coordinator to bridge between our local project team and a Chinese EPC contractor in Central Java. You will interpret meetings, translate various documents, and support daily coordination across stakeholders.

Based in Semarang with willingness to travel to the project site, you will help prepare meeting minutes, manage documentation, and assist procurement and administration as needed, leveraging

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written).
• Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced project environment.
• Willing to be based in Central Java and travel to project site when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mandarin English/Indonesian interpretation during meetings, site discussions, and daily communications.
• Translate project documents, technical drawings, reports, specifications, emails, and correspondence.
• Coordinate communication between the Owner, Civil Engineers, Design Team, and Chinese EPC Contractor.
• Prepare meeting minutes, monitor action items, and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with project documentation, filing, and document control.
• Ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.
• Support procurement, administration, and other project-related activities when Chinese language assistance is required.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Candidates based in the Semarang area are preferred.
• Fluent in Mandarin (Chinese), both spoken and written.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
