Job summary

PT DALI HEAVY INDUSTRY INDONESIA seeks a Mandarin Translator/Interpreter to support Chinese management and local staff in Cikarang, West Java. The role includes real-time interpretation and translating important documents.

You will accompany executives on field inspections and client visits, translate SOPs and reports, and assist with daily admin tasks while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Mandarin Chinese or Chinese literature.
• HSK certificate minimum level 4.
• 2+ years of Mandarin translator/interpreter experience.
• Valid Driver's License (SIM A) and ability to drive.
• Willing to work a 6-day week in Cikarang, West Java.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation (simultaneous/consecutive) between Mandarin-speaking management and local staff.
• Accompany management and foreign personnel during field inspections, factory visits, and client meetings.
• Translate SOPs, technical work instructions, daily/monthly reports, and internal regulations from Mandarin to Indonesian and vice versa.
• Coordinate transport for team members on business trips using company vehicles.
• Assist with daily administrative and communication needs for foreign personnel related to fieldwork.
• Ensure confidentiality of company data and documents.

Job description

Minimum qualification: Diploma (D3) / Bachelor's Degree (S1) (preferably in Mandarin Chinese / Chinese Literature)

Must possess an HSK certificate (Minimum HSK 4)

Minimum 2 years of working experience as a Mandarin Translator / Interpreter

Able to drive a car and possess a valid Driver's License (SIM A)

Proficient in Microsoft Word and basic computer applications

Disciplined, hard-working, honest, and highly proactive

Willing to work on a 6-day workweek schedule and be based in Cikarang, West Java

Provide real-time interpretation (simultaneous / consecutive) between Chinese management/teams and local staff

Accompany management and foreign personnel during field inspections, factory floor oversight, and visits to clients or business partners

Translate operational documents, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), technical work instructions, daily/monthly reports, and internal regulations from Mandarin to Indonesian (and vice versa)

Transport management and team members on business trips safely and efficiently using company vehicles

Assist in facilitating daily administrative and communication needs for foreign personnel related to field work
