Job summary

Sinowater International Solution is seeking an engineer to independently develop technical water treatment solutions for multiple project types, including site surveys, water quality analysis, and process optimization.

The role involves preparing technical tender documents, equipment lists, and support for sales during technical sections. Fluency in English and Chinese is preferred; occasional travel for site surveys is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Water Treatment, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Supply & Drainage, or related field.
• Ability to communicate with local customers and develop water purification solutions.
• Experience with water treatment systems and desalination is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel for site surveys and business trips.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop technical solutions for water treatment projects, including site surveys, water quality analysis, process selection, equipment selection, process drawings and explanations, investment estimation, and preparation of technical tender documents.
• Handle projects involving pure water, circulating water, seawater desalination, domestic wastewater, and industrial wastewater treatment.
• Communicate with customers on technical matters, respond to technical inquiries, explain proposed solutions, and conduct technical and commercial negotiations.
• Prepare bilingual technical materials and documentation.
• Perform calculations related to COD, BOD, flow rate, TDS/conductivity, chemical dosing, and equipment sizing and parameter selection.
• Prepare equipment and material lists.
• Support the Sales team in preparing the technical sections of tender documents, technical responses, and clarification letters.
• Provide technical support throughout project execution, including technical briefings, equipment installation guidance, commissioning, field troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Collect and organize data on water treatment equipment, consumables, and suppliers, and develop and maintain a technical and supplier database.
