Job summary

Nestlé Indonesia is seeking an Operations Shift Manager to drive line objectives by empowering people and ensuring production plans are achieved on time while meeting safety, quality, cost, and environmental targets. You will lead safety culture, manage teams, and collaborate with multiple functions across the line.

You will contribute to a manufacturing environment focused on NGMP adherence, continuous improvement, and strong stakeholder communication to deliver reliable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or Engineering
• 2-5 years of experience in a functional role in the food industry with experience in managing and engaging/motivating people
• Ability to positively confront and effectively deal with non-compliance
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment through effective housekeeping and adherence to safety practices

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures
• Ensure that Semi Finish Good and Finished Goods are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).
• Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP)
• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results.
• Organizing & delegating assignments to the team members, assessing and evaluating the work performance of the teams
• Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line)
