Job summary

PT Sibima Berkarya Mandiri seeks a visionary Managing Director (CEO) to lead the company with strategic focus and operational excellence in Jakarta Selatan. This role oversees profitability, governance and stakeholder value, reporting to the Executive Management team.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years in senior leadership, strong P&L and investor relations experience, and the ability to drive growth in a fast-paced Indonesian business landscape.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior leadership roles such as CEO or Managing Director.

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

About the role

We are recruiting a Managing Director (CEO) to lead PT Sibima Berkarya Mandiri with strategic vision and operational excellence. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Raya. As Managing Director, you will be responsible for the overall direction, performance and profitability of the organisation. You will provide strategic leadership across all business functions, drive growth initiatives, and ensure the company achieves its corporate objectives whilst maintaining the highest standards of governance and ethical conduct. This role is pivotal to the organisation's success and will have direct impact on stakeholder value creation and long-term sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive business strategy that drives revenue growth, market expansion and competitive advantage
• Provide strategic leadership and direction to executive management team and oversee all operational departments
• Set performance targets, monitor key performance indicators and ensure accountability across all business units
• Drive organisational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, partners and regulatory bodies
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting and resource allocation to ensure optimal returns on investment
• Champion corporate governance, compliance and risk management frameworks across the organisation
• Lead talent management and succession planning to build a high-performing organisational culture
• Represent the company at board meetings, investor presentations and major business engagements
• Identify new business opportunities, evaluate market trends and make strategic decisions on market entry and product development

What we're looking for

• Minimum 10+ years of senior leadership experience in a CEO or Managing Director capacity within medium to large organisations
• Proven track record of successfully developing and executing business strategy that has delivered measurable growth and profitability
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage P&L, capital allocation and investor relations
• Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities with the ability to balance short-term performance with long-term value creation
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing teams
• Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with boards, investors and key partners
• Comprehensive understanding of corporate governance, compliance and regulatory frameworks in Indonesia
• Strong commercial acumen and business development experience in identifying and executing new growth opportunities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Indonesian
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment and adapt to changing circumstances
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management or related discipline; MBA is preferred
