Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with strong planning foundations.
• 7–10 years in production planning, supply chain planning, scheduling, or control tower roles in manufacturing.
• Experience with demand planning, inventory management and production scheduling systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, logistics and supply chain principles.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules, demand forecasts, and inventory plans.

About the role

We are seeking a Manager Planning & Control Tower to join PT Sibima Berkarya Mandiri in South Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in optimising our production and logistics operations. As Manager Planning & Control Tower, you will be responsible for overseeing planning activities, demand forecasting, inventory management, and operational control to ensure seamless coordination across our manufacturing and logistics functions. This strategic position reports directly to senior management and has a significant impact on our operational efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules, demand forecasts, and inventory plans aligned with business objectives and customer requirements


• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning, scheduling, and supply chain execution


• Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure optimal resource allocation and timely execution of manufacturing plans


• Oversee the Control Tower function to proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, delays, and supply chain disruptions


• Manage inventory levels across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to balance service levels with working capital efficiency


• Lead demand planning activities, incorporating market trends, sales forecasts, and business intelligence into production schedules


• Implement and maintain planning systems, tools, and processes to improve forecasting accuracy and operational visibility


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment on business priorities


• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency gains within planning and control functions


• Prepare management reports and dashboards to communicate planning metrics, risks, and performance to senior leadership

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field


• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in production planning, supply chain planning, scheduling, or control tower operations within a manufacturing environment


• Proven experience with demand planning, inventory management, and production scheduling systems (e.g., ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)


• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting methodologies


• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes, logistics operations, and supply chain principles


• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of presenting complex information to senior management


• Experience with Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement methodologies


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with planning software or dashboard tools


• Fluency in Indonesian and English is essential; additional languages are advantageous


• Preferred experience: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies


• Preferred experience: Familiarity with supply chain resilience and risk management strategies
