Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in venue or hospitality management.
• Track record of managing hospitality venues.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, including F&B.
• Excellent leadership and people management.
• Financial acumen: budgeting and revenue management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with hospitality management systems and POS software.
• Understanding Indonesian regulations is advantageous.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Fluency in English; Indonesian beneficial.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manager Venue to join Cafe In Pererenan . This is a full-time position based on-site at our venue location in Bali. As Manager Venue, you will be responsible for the overall operations, management, and success of our hospitality venue. You will oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations whilst ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards of service, and driving business profitability. This is a strategic role that plays a crucial part in delivering our brand promise and achieving our business objectives in the competitive hospitality and tourism sector.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operations of the venue, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions, to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
• Manage and supervise venue staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management to maintain high service standards
• Maintain financial control and budgeting, including cost management, revenue optimisation, and profitability targets
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations specific to hospitality venues in Bali and Indonesia
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty, including monitoring feedback and implementing improvements
• Manage vendor relationships, purchasing, and inventory control to optimise operational efficiency
• Create and maintain a positive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, professional development, and employee retention
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on venue performance to senior management
• Liaise with marketing teams to promote the venue and drive customer acquisition and retention
• Handle guest relations and resolve any complaints or issues professionally and promptly

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in venue management, hospitality management, or similar leadership role within the hospitality and tourism sector
• Proven track record of successfully managing hospitality venues, restaurants, bars, clubs, or similar establishments
• Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, including food and beverage service, guest relations, and health and safety standards
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with guests, staff, and stakeholders effectively
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure
• Familiarity with hospitality management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
• Understanding of Indonesian hospitality regulations and local business practices is advantageous
• Flexibility and adaptability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the hospitality industry
• Fluency in English; Indonesian language skills are beneficial
