Job summary

PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk is seeking a diligent Maintenance Operator - In Line-3 to ensure reliable operation of Line-3 production machinery and uphold product quality.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues, keep records, and support continuous improvements. Shift work and weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Proven experience as Maintenance Operator/Technician in food manufacturing or FMCG preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and tools; adheres to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on Line-3 machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues; implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions using drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Lubricate, clean and adjust components to extend equipment life.
• Assist installation, commissioning and testing of new equipment.
• Monitor performance and suggest maintenance improvements or upgrades.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and safety policies; maintain records of maintenance tasks and parts used.
• Coordinate with production staff to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.

Job Summary:\\*\\* We are seeking a diligent and skilled Maintenance Operator - In Line-3 to ensure the optimal functioning and reliability of production machinery and equipment within our Line-3 operations. This role is crucial for maintaining production efficiency and product quality at PT Japfa Food Indonesia. Job Responsibilities:\\*\\* \\* Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on all machinery and equipment within Line-3, including but not limited to conveyors, mixers, packaging machines, and processing units. \\* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and execute timely and effective corrective actions to minimize downtime. \\* Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement solutions based on technical drawings, schematics, and operational manuals. \\* Conduct regular lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments of machinery components to ensure smooth operation and extend equipment lifespan. \\* Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and machinery. \\* Monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and recommend improvements to maintenance procedures or equipment upgrades. \\* Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. \\* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and inspection results. \\* Collaborate effectively with production staff to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption to production schedules. \\* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance processes and equipment reliability. Job Qualifications:\\*\\* \\* diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. \\* Proven experience as a Maintenance Operator or Technician, preferably within a food manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. \\* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. \\* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals. \\* Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment. \\* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial maintenance. \\* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. \\* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. \\* Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends/holidays as required. \\* Good communication skills.
